At OCA, learning is both foundational and fun-dational! We build strong foundations by helping children grow in their knowledge of God and the truths of Scripture while learning vital social skills and how to care for one another. We lay the groundwork for future learning through pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and beginning phonics, early math and concept development, and hands-on discovery of the world around them, marveling at how God created each part to be wonderfully unique. And of course, learning is fun-dational too! Days are filled with creativity and exploration, movement and music, love and laughter, and a growing love for God and others. We believe the best learning happens when kids are having fun, feeling loved, and discovering something new every day.

Oakwood Christian Academy offers a nurturing preschool program for children who are three or four years old on or before the first of September. Our preschool is a half-day program with dismissal at noon.

Four-year-old preschool students may also participate in our Learning Center program, designed to support working families in need of extended care from noon until 3 PM. Additional care from 3-6 PM is available through our After School Care program. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
